Biography

Sophomore star who ranks among the top players in the region . . . Quickly showed what she’s capable of last fall as a freshman and went on to enjoy a stellar rookie campaign . . . Showcases a superb all-around game and is a steady player who doesn’t make many mistakes . . . Has really benefitted from the success and experience of last year and has a chance to contend for All-America honors this spring . . . Has 14 top-20 finishes in 16 career tournaments.

Fall 2011:  Put together a spectacular fall season with a trio of top-three finishes and a 73.9 average that ranked as the eighth-best in Division II . . . Shot under-par three times and came in 16th or better in all five tournaments . . . Was runner-up at the Lady Buff Stampede with a one-over-par 145 total (74-71) and duplicated that finish at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate at even-par 144 (70-74) . . . Came in third at the UCO Classic at one-under 139 after shooting 70-69 . . . Also tied for 10th at the Southwest Classic and tied for 16th at the DBU Classic.

2010-11:  Finished with a team-leading 77.4 scoring average while playing in all 11 tournaments . . . Shot in the 70s in 21 of 25 rounds, including a string of 10 straight, and fired a 75 or better six times . . . Finished out of the top 20 (22nd and 26th) in just two tournaments and had four top-10 showings . . . Just missed out on qualifying for the NCAA Division II national tournament, losing out on the first hole of a playoff after tying for seventh at the Super Regional Four Tournament with a 235 total (80-78-77) . . . Tied for fifth in her first-ever college tournament at the Drury Fall Shootout with a 152 total after shooting 75-77 . . . Came back two weeks later with a fourth-place tie in the UCO/Mahogany Classic at six-over-par 146 (71-75) . . . Was an honorable mention All-Lone Star Conference pick and was also named to the National Golf Coaches Association’s All-America Scholar Team.

High School:  Three-time Texas Christian Athletic Fellowship (TCAF) state champion at Hill School in Fort Worth, Texas . . . Set school records for single-round (four-under-par 67) and two-day tournament (one-under 141) . . . Also a three-time All-District selection in basketball.

Personal:  A professional golf management major . . . Brother (Michael) played golf at Midwestern State . . . Birthdate is Nov. 29, 1991.
