Biography
Senior veteran returning to the team after sitting out last year . . . Two-year letterwinner who played in every game (60) her first two years . . . Suffered a knee injury in preseason drills, but hopes to be back for the second semester and is an experienced post player who would give the Bronchos solid defensive help inside . . . Also a good shooter with 3-point range.
2008-09: Sat out the season.
2007-08: Came off the bench in all 32 games, averaging 5.0 points and 2.0 rebounds a contest . . . Tied a career scoring high with 16 points in early-season win over Henderson State, hitting 6-of-10 shots and all four 3-point tries . . . Had two other double-digit outings, collecting 11 points in home win over Southwestern Oklahoma and going 4-for-4 from the field in a 10-point game against West Texas A&M in the LSC Tournament finals . . . Had a trio of six-rebound games.
2006-07: Enjoyed a solid freshman season, playing in all 28 games in a reserve role . . . Averaged 5.9 points and 2.9 rebounds a game while shooting 42.8 percent from the field . . . Scored five-plus points in 17 games, highlighted by a career-high 16-point outing against Eastern New Mexico . . . Also had double-figure games against East Central (14) and Cameron (12) . . . Grabbed five or more rebounds on seven occasions, pulling down a career-high nine twice.
High School: Averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds a game as a senior at Harrah High School . . . Two-time all-conference pick and an All-Stater her final season . . . Also a four-time state qualifier and two-time placer in the high jump.
Personal: A nursing major . . . Younger sister (Courtney) is a teammate on this year’s squad . . . Birthdate is Aug. 6, 1988.
