Biography
Talented sophomore returning to action after missing the second half of last season to injury . . . Tall, agile post player ready to fill a spot in the starting lineup and should be a mainstay with her inside abilities . . . Is a major forced in the paint as a rebounder and shot-blocker, but also a good shooter who can step outside and knock down the 3-pointer . . . Redshirted in 2010-11 after suffering a pre-season injury and played just 12 games last year, but is ready to made an impact this winter.
2011-12: Opened her career with 13-point, 12-rebound, four-assist outing in win over Texas-Permian Basin and was off to a great start before going down with injury early in the 12th game . . . Averaged 10.8 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.7 blocks a game while shooting 50.5 percent from the field, including 57.1 percent (4-of-7) from 3-point range . . . Started all 12 games she played in and scored in double figures seven times . . . Scored season-high 20 points in win over Southeastern Oklahoma in the game before suffering season-ending injury . . . Had 17 points and 11 rebounds against Southwestern Oklahoma . . . Blocked at least one shot in 11 of 12 games played and had a trio of three-rejection outings.
2010-11: Redshirt while sitting out with injury.
High School: Four-sport star at Hulbert High School . . . Three-time conference MVP and an All-Stater as a senior after averaging 25.5 points, 12.0 rebounds and 7.7 blocks a game . . . Also won a state title in the high jump, was a three-time All-Conference pick in volleyball and played softball.
