High School:  Earned Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Year honors and first-team All-Texomaland accolades as a senior at S&S Consolidated High School after averaging 24 points and 16 rebounds a game . . . Also lettered in volleyball and was a track state runner-up in the discus.
