Biography
Senior standout who ranks among the finest players in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association . . . Team leader set to fill a starting role for the third straight season and is poised to finish her career with a flourish . . . Outstanding all-around athlete with great quickness and leaping ability . . . Intense competitor who can be a dominating force with both her scoring and rebounding ability . . . Suffered knee injury in conference tournament last year and probably won’t be at full strength until mid-December . . . Has started 52 of 57 games the past two seasons and enters the 2015-16 campaign with 618 career points, needing 220 to move into UCO’s all-time top 20 list . . . Came to UCO after one season at Division I Central Arkansas.
2014-15: Was a third-team All-MIAA selection after averaging 10.4 points and 4.5 rebounds a game . . . Started in 25 of 29 contests, missing league tournament quarterfinal loss after suffering torn ACL early in first-round win over Nebraska-Kearney . . . Scored in double figures 14 times and had three games with 20-plus points . . . Averaged 16.3 points during one six-game stretch while shooting 45.8 percent from the field (33-of-72) and 86.2 percent from the line (25-of-29) . . . Scored season-high 27 points to go with nine rebounds, three steals and two blocks in road win over Southern Nazarene . . . Had 23 points, nine boards and three blocks against Northeastern State, making 7-of-13 shots and 8-of-10 foul shots . . . Pulled down at least five rebounds 10 times, including four games with nine.
2013-14: Played in all 28 games with 27 starts and was the team’s second-leading scorer (11.3) and rebounder (5.2) . . . Scored 15-plus points five times, highlighted by career-best 28-point outing in first-round MIAA Tournament road win over Lindenwood . . . Hit 10-of-14 shots and 8-of-10 free throws in that contest while adding six rebounds . . . Had 15 points and career-high 13 rebounds in regular-season meeting with the Lions and had two other double-doubles -- 19 points and 10 rebounds against Washburn and 10 points and 10 rebounds against Southern Nazarene . . . Also had 11 rebounds while scoring nine points in home win over Nebraska-Kearney.
UCA: Redshirted her first year and then played in 27 games with one start in 2012-13 . . . Averaged 1.9 points and 1.1 rebounds a game for the 15-15 Sugar Bears.
High School: Prep standout at Fairview High School, earning All-Conference honors four straight years . . . Two-time conference MVP and an All-State pick as a senior after averaging 17.5 points, 10 rebounds and 2.9 steals a game . . . Also a softball All-Stater and state runner-up in the high jump for the Yellowjackets.
