Biography
Senior star and undoubtedly one of the top point guards in the Lone Star Conference . . . Has started throughout her career and is a tremendous floor general who thrives at running UCO’s fast-paced offense . . . An uncanny defender with superb quickness who is ready to be more of a scoring threat this season with her ability to drive to the basket and increased shooting range . . . Is poised for a banner final season and the Bronchos need for this veteran to play at a high level . . . Has played in every game (93) with 87 starts during her career . . . Ranks second on UCO’s all-time assists list (399) and is third in career steals (180).
2008-09: Enjoyed a fantastic junior season in earning LSC North Division Defensive Player of the Year honors and honorable mention All-LSC North acclaim . . . Averaged 9.6 points, 4.5 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 2.4 steals a game while shooting a solid 45.2 percent (117-of-259) from the field and 80.3 percent (49-of-61) from the line . . . Was third in the league in steals and sixth in assists, ranking sixth on the school’s single-season list for steals (78) and eighth for assists (147) . . . Scored 10-plus points 15 times with a pair of career-high 20-point outings . . . Had 20 points and a career-high 11 assists -- the sixth-best game in school history -- in LSC Tournament win over Texas A&M-Commerce . . . Handed out five-plus assists in 14 games.
2007-08: Was named the LSC North Division co-Defensive Player of the Year . . . Started in 28 of 32 games and averaged 4.2 assists, 3.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.3 steals a game . . . Finished with 135 assists, collecting five-plus in 12 games with a pair of season-high 10-assist performances . . . Scored in double figures four times, with a high of 13 coming in home win over Cameron . . . Made two or more steals in 13 contests.
2006-07: Started every game as a rookie in earning LSC North Division Freshman of the Year honors, averaging 7.3 points, 4.2 assists and 2.1 steals a game . . . Ranked among the league leaders in assists (fifth) and steals (seventh) . . . Scored in double figures nine times, with a season-high 17 coming against NAIA powerhouse Oklahoma City . . . Dished out five or more assists eight times and had a pair of six-steal outings.
High School: Local standout at Edmond Santa Fe High School, helping the Wolves to a state runner-up finish . . . An All-Conference and All-State pick as a senior after averaging 12 points, six steals and six assists a game . . . Also lettered in track, soccer and volleyball.
