William Woods: Enjoyed a fantastic freshman campaign where she was the team’s fifth-leading scorer with 7.6 points per game . . . Scored a season-high 19 points against Hannibal-Lagrange . . . Tossed in 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in contest with Lincoln University . . . Scored 10 or more points in 10 different games throughout the year.
High School: Star athlete at Union High School in Tulsa . . . Averaged 16.2 points and 6.3 assists to earn All-State honors as a senior . . . Also lettered in track and volleyball.
Personal: A physical education major . . . Born in Mexico and moved to the United States when she was seven . . . Ranks Michael Jordan as her favorite athlete . . . Birthdate is Feb. 12, 1987.
