Biography

Graduate transfer who will undoubtedly have a major impact on the pitching staff this season … Hard-throwing right-hander and proven winner with plenty of big-game experience … Will eat up lots of innings as one of the main starters and should vie for postseason honors … Came to UCO after stellar three-year career at Division II rival Southern Arkansas.
 
SAU: Three-time First-Team All-Great American Conference selection for the Muleriders, finishing career with 57-22 record – the second-most wins in school history – and a 2.12 earned run average … Appeared in 103 games with 94 starts and threw 36 complete games, including 16 shutouts … Struck out 454 batters in 511.1 innings and led SAU to the Central Regional Tournament three straight years … Went 16-4 with a 2.94 ERA as a freshman in 2022 while starting 30 games, striking out 145 in 142 innings … Had a 24-7 record and 2.88 ERA the following season while throwing 16 complete games in 36 starts with seven shutouts … Fanned 170 in 200 innings and led the Muleriders to the Central Super Regional before falling to UCO in Edmond … Had a 1.82 ERA and 17-11 record last year with 141 strikeouts in 169.1 innings … Tossed 12 complete games in 28 starts with six shutouts, highlighted by a five-inning no-hitter against Henderson State … Fanned 10-plus batters three times, including career-high 13 in win over Fort Hays State.
 
High School: Four-time All-State pick at Paris (Ark.) High School … Finished with 1.94 career ERA and struck out 200-plus batters as a senior … Also lettered in basketball.
