Biography

Senior pitcher looking to rebound from off-season surgery … Came in as a Division I transfer last year and played huge role in one of UCO’s best-ever seasons … Had hip operation in the summer and will probably start the season mainly in short relief role as she continues to get stronger … Left-handed hurler with good movement and control … One of best pitchers in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association when healthy … Came to UCO for the fall of 2018 after spending two years at Nebraska.
 
2019: Earned first-team All-MIAA honors after going 19-3 with a 2.53 earned run average … Pitched in 29 games with 25 starts, walking just 37 batters in 124 1/3 innings … Threw four shutouts among eight complete games, including five-inning four-hitter in UCO’s 12-0 rout of Arkansas Tech in Central Regional I finale … Tossed three-hitter in 6-0 win over Central Missouri and gave up just four hits in 3-0 blanking of Newman … Struck out 65 batters, collecting season-high seven in wins over Cameron and Angelo State … Winning percentage (.864) ranks third on UCO’s single-season list and her 19 wins tied for 10th.

NU: Saw action in 24 games during two years with the Cornhuskers … Battled through injury-plagued freshman season to pitch 14 games with six starts, all of those coming against ranked teams … Went 2-4 with one save and a 5.57 earned run average for 27.2 innings … First-ever start came against top-ranked Oklahoma and tossed complete-game in close loss to No. 8 Minnesota … Made one start in 10 games in 2018, finishing with one save and a 5.78 ERA in 13.1 innings … Earned save with three-inning, four-strikeout outing against Michigan State … Two-time Scholar-Athlete selection and also named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

High School: Prep standout at Desert Edge High School in Goodyear, Ariz. … All-State pick as a sophomore and junior before missing senior season to injury … Went 18-3 with a 1.48 ERA as a junior while hitting .417 with 10 doubles and 31 runs batted in … Also a volleyball letterwinner.
