Biography

Two-year letterwinner who is switching positions this season . . . Has seen extensive starting duty the past two years in the outfield, but moved to second base during fall drills and is battling for the starting spot there  . . . Left-handed hitter with good speed and also capable of hitting the ball out of the park . . . Experienced junior ready to get back in the lineup and be a major contributor.

2016:  Batted .282 with four home runs, three doubles, two triples and 16 runs batted in while playing in 47 games with 28 starts -- 16 in center field and 12 in right . . . Had five multi-hit games . . . Blasted two homers in 2-for-4, five-RBI outing against Southwest Baptist . . . Went 2-for-5 with a double, homer and two RBI in MIAA Tournament win over Central Missouri . . . Made just one error in 59 chances.
 
2015:  Played in 59 of 61 games, making 43 starts in left and 16 at designated player . . . Finished with a .312 average that included 12 doubles, two homers and 29 RBI while also drawing team-high 19 walks . . . Had 12 multi-hit and eight multi-RBI games . . . Went 2-for-2 with a homer, three runs scored and four RBI in win over Southern Nazarene . . . Other homer came in three-RBI game against Lindenwood . . . Put together six- and 13-game hitting streaks.
 
High School:  Three-sport standout at Tuttle High School . . . Earned All-Conference, Oklahoman Little All-City and All-State honors as a senior on the diamond . . . Helped team make four state tournament appearances with one runner-up finish . . . Also an Oklahoman Little All-City performer in basketball and a state track runner-up in the 1,600-meter relay for the Tigers.
 
Personal:  Strategic communications major and member of UCO’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) . . . Enjoys reading as a hobby . . . Names “A League of Their Own” as her favorite sports movie . . . Lists Cody Johnson as her top musician . . . Birthdate is Aug. 21, 1995.
