Biography

Junior second baseman ready to fill starting berth for the second straight season … Played mainly in pinch-running role as a freshman before taking over at second last year and showing what she’s capable of … Left-handed slap hitter ready to be more of an offensive threat this spring … Showcases great range in the field and is one of the best infield defenders in the MIAA.
 
2024: Earned honorable mention All-MIAA recognition after starting in 54 of UCO’s 57 games … Hit .306 with five doubles and one triple while scoring 27 runs … Had 11 multi-hit games, highlighted by 3-for-3 performance in win over Minnesota-Duluth … Batted .531 (17-for-32) when leading off an inning and had a .352 average (19-for-54) with two outs … Made a team-high 116 assists and had solid .962 fielding percentage in 235 chances … Had a 16-game errorless streak.
 
2023: Played in 27 games with five starts, batting .316 in limited action at the plate with six hits in 19 at bats with four RBI … Flawless in the field in limited action, totaling 13 putouts and nine assists in five starts … Scored 13 runs, 11 of those coming as pinch-runner.
 
High School: Enjoyed stellar career at Skiatook High School, earning District Player of the Year honors twice … Also an All-Region and All-State pick as a senior … Finished career with .469 average and 97 stolen bases … Also lettered in basketball for the Bulldogs.
 
Personal: Kinesiology major looking to become a physical therapist … Enjoys painting as a hobby … Dad (Toby) was a baseball star at Cowley County Community College – making that school’s Hall of Fame -- and Arkansas State, then played minor league baseball after being drafted by the Atlanta Braves … Older sister (Taylor) played softball at Cowley County … Names the Atlanta Braves as her favorite team … Lists “Coach Carter” as her top sports movie … Birthdate is Jan. 28, 2004.
