Biography

Multi-talented junior veteran and a two-year starter who will play a variety of positions this season . . . Started mostly at first base last year and could return there, but is also capable of playing anywhere else in the infield or outfield . . . Has started at six different positions during her career in addition to seeing time in the pitching circle as a reliever . . . Superb all-around player with good speed and a switch-hitter who can make things happen at the plate . . . Has started in 89 of 91 career games.

2010:  Started all 52 games she played in, batting .258 with seven doubles, one home run, 16 runs batted in and eight stolen bases . . . Had a team-high 12 sacrifice bunts, including four during one three-game stretch . . . Forty starts came at first base and also saw starting duty at third base (10 games), right field (one) and designated player (one) . . . Made just four errors in 272 fielding chances and ended the season with a 19-game error-less streak . . . Had 10 multi-hit games and drove in multiple runs in five contests . . . Batted .467 (14-for-30) during an eight-game hitting streak late in the year and had two other streaks of five-plus games . . . Was an all-tournament pick in the LSC Tournament after going 9-for-20 (.450) with her lone homer of the season, three RBI and six runs . . . Pitched in nine games, going 0-1 with one save and a 4.57 earned run average.

2009:  Played in 39 games with 37 starts, getting 13 in right field, 12 in left field, five at second base, four in center field and three at third base
while also seeing limiting pitching duty . . . Finished second on the team with a .359 average and had a team-high 11 sacrifice bunts . . . Was an all-tournament pick at the South Central Regional Shootout after hitting .388 (7-for-18) . . . Had eight multi-hit games and ended the season with a six-game hitting streak, batting .563 (9-for-16).

High School:  Four-time All-Conference and All-Region pick at Oktana High School . . . Helped the Tigers to one state title and was an All-State pick as a senior . . . Also lettered in basketball and golf.

Personal:  A nursing major . . . Birthdate is Aug. 14, 1989.
