Biography

Strong-armed senior pitcher set to be a mainstay for the Bronchos again this season . . . Came in last year after having sat out the previous season and had a tremendous impact in helping lead UCO back to the national tournament . . . Right-handed power pitcher with excellent control who will fill a starting role and could also be used in relief . . . Knows how to utilize her strengths in the circle and is undoubtedly one of the best hurlers in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association . . . Could also see valuable time at designated player, owning dangerous power at the plate . . . Played two seasons at Oklahoma State and then sat out the 2016 season before coming to UCO.

2017:  Appeared in 32 games with 28 starts and put together an outstanding season, finishing 22-6 with two saves and a 1.48 earned run average in 160.2 innings . . . Was a second-team All-MIAA selection and finished 12th in NCAA Division II with 10 shutouts, which ranks fourth on UCO’s single-season list . . . Was fourth in the conference in ERA and wins while also ranking ninth in saves and 10th in both innings pitched and strikeouts . . . Ranks seventh on the school’s single-season chart for wins and winning percentage (.786) . . . Earned MIAA Pitcher of the Week honors after going 3-0 with an 0.44 ERA, 11 strikeouts and just one walk in 16 innings during dominating three-game stretch . . . Allowed two hits in one shutout and threw a pair of three-hit blankings . . . Won eight straight games during one span . . . Threw back-to-back shutouts in wins over St. Edward’s and Oklahoma Christian, allowing just five hits and three walks in 12 innings.

OSU:  Was used mostly in relief during two years with the Cowgirls . . . Appeared in 13 games as a freshman in 2014 and pitched in seven contests the next season, making one save.

High School:  Softball-basketball star at Hammon High School . . . Four-year starter in softball, putting together a phenomenal 109-18 career record with 1,100 strikeouts while also hitting 59 home runs . . . Led the Warriors to a pair of state championships and was an All-State pick in both slow- and fast-pitch as a senior . . . Also earned All-State honors in basketball.
 
Personal:  Physical education major looking to become a teacher and coach . . . Names “Glory Road” as her favorite sports movie . . . Birthdate is July 17, 1994.
