Biography

Returning starter looking to maintain her spot at second base . . . Began career at pitcher and saw limited time in the circle as a true freshman before switching positions last year and earning the starting job . . . Should get a boost from the experience and success gained in 2017 and looks to be more of an offensive threat this spring . . . Could also see time at designated player.

2017:  Took over at second early in the season and went on to start 51 games, finishing with a .282 average . . . Had nine doubles, three home runs and 20 runs batted in while committing just six errors in 165 fielding chances . . . Hit .421 (16-for-38) as a lead-off hitter and batted .344 (11-for-32) with two outs . . . Had 11 multi-hit and six multi-RBI games . . . Went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI in early-season win over Metro State . . . Came through with clutch sixth-inning RBI double to lift UCO to 4-3 MIAA Tournament win over Northwest Missouri.

2016:  Pitched in 11 games with seven starts and went 3-4 with a 6.91 earned run average . . . Longest outing was five-inning stint in win over Oklahoma Christian . . . Was named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
 
High School:  Three-year star at McAlester High School . . . Finished career with 1.82 earned run average while also batting .407 . . . All-District pick and Alternate All-State selection as a senior for the Lady Buffs.
 
Personal:  Kinesiology major looking to become a physical therapist and member of the UCO President’s Honor Roll . . . Enjoys fishing as a hobby . . . Lists “A League of Their Own” as her top sports movie . . . Birthdate is Sept. 7, 1995.
