Biography

Returning starter slated to retain her spot at first base . . . Came in as a junior college transfer last year and put together an outstanding junior season, both at the plate and in the field . . . Experienced senior veteran who gives the Bronchos another capable bat in the lineup and also an excellent defender ready to finish her career in style.

2011:  Started all 44 games she played at first base and ended up batting a team-high .349 with eight doubles, three home runs and 22 runs batted in . . . Also had a team-best .996 fielding percentage with just one error in 256 chances and was a second-team All-Lone Star Conference North Division selection . . . Finished the season with a 32-game error-less streak . . . Tied for the team lead in multi-hit games with 13 and had six multi-RBI outings . . . Was an all-tournament pick at the LSC Crossover Tournament after hitting .450 (9-for-20) with three RBI.

Juco:  All-Region performer at Seminole State College as a sophomore in 2010 after batting .438 with 22 doubles, six home runs and 38 runs batted in leading the Trojans to a fourth-place national finish . . . Hit a school-record .506 with 18 doubles, 11 homers and 62 RBI as a freshman.

High School:  Four-year starter at Del City High School . . . Hit over .450 as both a junior and senior in earning All-Conference honors.

Personal:  A general studies major . . . Birthdate is April 14, 1990.
