Biography

Versatile senior slugger returning to the field after missing the end of last season to injury . . . Ranks among the elite players in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association and NCAA Division II and is eager to get back in the lineup . . . Played a variety of positions for the Bronchos last year, but is set to start at third or second base in 2017 . . . Dangerous offensive force capable of smacking the ball out of the park during every at bat and also hits for average . . . Clutch performer who will once again be the team’s main clean-up hitter . . . Came to UCO after stellar two-year career at Seminole State College.

2016:  Enjoyed one of the best power seasons in school history despite missing the final nine games to injury . . . Tied for fifth on UCO’s single-season list for home runs (14) and was fifth in runs batted in (60) while hitting .358 . . . Earned first-team All-MIAA recognition and was also a second-team All-Central Region pick by both the Conference Commissioners Association and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association . . . Started at five different positions in the 51 games she played – right field (29), third base (10), designated player (six), shortstop (four) and second base (two) . . . Topped the conference and ranked 19th in Division II in total RBI and was 11th nationally in RBI per game (1.18) . . . Led the team in multi-RBI games with 18 and also had 18 multi-hit outings . . . Opened UCO career with nine-game hitting streak, batting .514 (18-for-35) with five doubles, two homers and 17 RBI in that impressive stretch . . . Had three games with four RBI . . . Put together four hitting streaks of at least seven games, including the final seven games of the season . . . Had a team-high 39 two-out RBI.
 
Juco:  Belted 19 home runs, drove in 59 runs and had a .405 average as a freshman at Seminole in earning All-Region II honors and leading team to the national tournament . . . Came back the next season to hit .364 with 16 doubles, 10 homers and 35 RBI as the Trojans finished 48-11.
 
High School:  Earned All-Conference honors in fast- and slow-pitch four straight years at Smithville High School and helped the team to a state runner-up finish . . . Received All-State accolades as a senior and was named Offensive Player of the year . . . Also a four-time All-Conference selection in basketball.
 
Personal:  Kinesiology major looking to become a softball coach . . . Enjoys fishing and hunting as hobbies . . . Names “Facing the Giants” as her top sports movie . . . Birthdate is Jan. 23, 1995
