Biography

Sophomore pitcher who will battle for innings as both a starter and reliever … Picked up plenty of much-needed experience last year and showed glimpses of what she’s capable of in the circle … Right-handed hurler with great work ethic and attitude who will keep improving.

2018:  Appeared in 33 games with 16 starts and finished 10-5 with two saves and a 4.65 earned run average … Was second on the team in innings pitched with 122.0 and tossed seven complete games … Threw one shutout, a three-hit gem against Washburn in 4-0 win … Allowed just two hits and one run in six innings work during 9-1 run-rule rout of Lindenwood in the MIAA Tournament … Earned saves against Texas A&M-Kingsville and Missouri Western.

2017:  Sat out redshirt year.

High School:  Prep standout at Van Alstyne (Texas) High School . . . Three-time All-District selection and was named District MVP as a senior after finishing with 1.28 earned run average while also batting .625.

Personal:  Strategic communications major . . . Enjoys cooking and painting as hobbies . . . Names the Texas Rangers as her favorite professional team . . . Lists “For Love of the Game” as her top sports movie . . . Names Def Leppard as her favorite musician . . . Birthdate is Oct. 16, 1997.
