Biography

Team leader and multi-talented senior standout ready for her fourth year of starting duty . . . Is scheduled to be the main shortstop this season, but could also be back at catcher for the second straight year . . . Has started all 138 games the past three years at either shortstop, catcher or second base and has been a model of consistency throughout . . . Fabulous defensive player no matter what position she’s at, owning great instincts for the game along with a rifle arm . . . Clutch performer and a tough out at the plate who will be an important run-producer for the Bronchos this spring . . . Has 71 career runs batted in, needing just eight more to move into UCO’s top-five list, and has a chance to rank among the school’s all-time leaders in a number of other offensive categories.

2009:  Received first-team All-Lone Star Conference North Division recognition at catcher after starting all 41 games . . . Batted .300 with nine doubles, four home runs and 23 RBI while drawing a team-high 16 walks and finishing with a .381 on-base percentage . . . Also shined defensively, making just two errors in 252 chances for a .992 fielding percentage while throwing out 12-of-22 base stealers . . . Was an all-tournament pick at the South Central Regional Shootout after driving in seven runs . . . Had 12 multi-hit games and drove in four runs on a pair of occasions . . . Plated four runs in a season-opening 8-2 win over Northwest Missouri with a two-run homer and two-run single and hit a grand slam in a 6-4 victory over Southwestern Oklahoma . . . Drove in the only run in a 1-0 LSC Tournament win over Midwestern State with an RBI single . . . Batted .343 in 22 North Division games.

2008:   Started all 52 games at shortstop and finished second on the team with a .321 average that included eight doubles, three homers and 30 RBI . . . Hit .342 with five doubles and 14 RBI in 24 league games to earn honorable mention All-Lone Star Conference North Division recognition . . . Had 14 multi-hit games, five of those three-hit performances . . . Dominated at the plate during UCO’s run to the LSC Crossover Tournament title, batting .458 (11-for-24) with 12 runs scored and six RBI . . . Drove in four runs against both Incarnate Word and Missouri Southern . . . Made a team-high 124 assists, making at least five in nine games, and finished with a fine .945 fielding percentage.

2007:  Started all 45 games as a true freshman and was an honorable mention All-LSC North Division pick at second base after hitting .272 with 18 RBI . . . Had seven multi-hit games and recorded at least one hit in 19-of-24 LSC North games . . . Named to the LSC Tournament all-tournament team after collecting five hits and five RBI in UCO’s runner-up finish . . . Had a three-run double in 7-1 win over Tarleton State, then added two hits and an RBI in 4-1 semifinal upset of No. 4-ranked Angelo State . . . Committed just four errors in 195 chances.

High School: 
Two-time All-Conference selection on the diamond at Seminole High School . . . Also lettered in basketball.

Personal:   A criminal justice major . . . Has an uncle (John Tiger) who played football at Kansas . . . Lists Derek Jeter as her favorite sports star . . . Birthdate is May 4, 1988.
