Biography

Two-year letterwinner and returning starter who will play an instrumental role this season . . . Saw starting duty at three different positions last year and is a versatile talent ready to be a prime offensive weapon for the Bronchos . . . Should see most of her action in right field, but could also see some time at numerous other positions and could pitch if needed.

2010:  Played in 46 games with 42 starts, hitting .268 with six doubles, five home runs and 23 runs batted in . . . Earned 25 starts in right field, 16 at DP and one at third base while also pitching in two games . . . Had seven multi-hit outings and five multi-RBI games . . . Drove in four runs against both Tarleton State and Southwestern Oklahoma . . . Three of her five homers came during a three-game stretch midway through the season to help spark wins over SWOSU, Texas Woman’s and West Texas A&M.

2009:  Played in 19 games with eight starts, with seven of those coming in left field . . . Managed just one hit, an RBI single against Southeastern Oklahoma, and scored four runs.

High School:  Helped lead Stillwater High School to three state tournament berths and batted .362 as a senior in earning All-District, All-Region and All-State recognition.

Personal:  A nursing major . . . Sister (Ashley) played for the Bronchos in 2008 and ‘09 . . . Grandfather (Weldon Haney) is a member of the National Softball Hall of Fame . . . Names the Los Angeles Lakers as her favorite professional team . . . Lists “Love and Basketball” as her top sports movie . . . Birthdate is Feb. 16, 1990.
