Biography

Senior stalwart who ranks as one of the premier players in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association … Spent first two years in left field before moving to third base last season and will be at the hot corner again this spring ... Hits for power and average, showcasing an offensive prowess few in the conference can match … Also a terrific defender at third who can make all the plays … Has started every game (175) of her sensational career and will be looking to become just the fourth four-time All-Conference player in program history this season … Already ranks in the top 10 in seven career categories at UCO – doubles (third, 46), runs batted in (fourth, 149), home runs (fifth, 28), hits (seventh, 200), at bats (eighth, 570), runs scored (eighth, 121) and average (10th, .351) … Played on United States All-Star team in Aruba Friendship Series in the summer of 2017.

2018:  Second-team All-MIAA selection after hitting career-high .372 with 19 doubles, an NCAA Division II-leading nine sacrifice flies, six homers and 46 RBI … Finished second in the league in doubles and fifth in RBI, with the doubles mark also ranking third on UCO’s single-season list … Started 47 of 56 games at third while also seeing action at left field, right field and designated player … Had 18 multi-hit games and team-high 14 multi-RBI outings … Put together four hitting streaks of at least five games, tying a career high with 10-game streak midway through the season … Hit .483 (14-for-29) with 11 RBI during that torrid stretch … Ripped two doubles in a game five times … Slugged two homers and had four RBI in early-season rout of East Central … Had an uncanny .953 average (19-for-20) with runners on third and less than two outs … Also pitched in 10 games with one start to help out injury-plagued staff, going 0-1 with one save.

2017:  Batted .351 with 14 doubles, eight homers and 53 RBI in garnering second-team All-MIAA recognition … Ranked in the league’s top 10 in six offensive categories – third in RBI and at bats (194), fifth in hits (68), tied for fifth in runs (43), tied for seventh in doubles and 10th in slugging percentage (.567) … 53 RBI ranks 10th on the school’s single-season list … Had 19 multi-hit and 14 multi-RBI games, with seven-RBI game against Washburn ranking as the second-best in UCO history … Went 3-for-4 with two homers in that contest and also had five-RBI outing against Lindenwood … Hit .647 (11-for-17) with three homers and 14 RBI during one five-game stretch … Had season-best 10-game hitting streak midway through the year, batting .467 (14-for-30) with four doubles, one homer and 12 RBI in that span . . . Drove in 24 runs and batted .388 (26-for-67) with two outs.

2016:  Was the only player to start all 60 games and tied for team lead in home runs with 14 while hitting .333 in earning second-team All-MIAA honors … Was second on the squad in doubles (13) and RBI (50) ... Had team-leading 204 at bats, which ranks fourth on UCO’s single-season list, and 14 homers is tied for fifth … Had 23 multi-hit games and 16 multi-RBI contests … Started career with nine-game hitting streak, batting .447 (17-for-38) with 10 RBI in that stretch . . . Went 4-for-5 with a homer and four RBI in win over East Central … Had key 3-for-4, three-RBI outing in MIAA Tournament win over Central Missouri … Came through in the clutch, hitting sizzling .444 (32-for-72) with 33 RBI with two outs.
 
High School:  Four-time All-Conference, All-District and Edmond Sun All-City pick at Edmond Santa Fe High School … All-State pick at shortstop as a senior after hitting .431 with nine homers while also serving as the Wolves’ top pitcher … Threw 16 innings and smacked game-winning homer in regional tournament victory her final season … Started on state championship basketball team as a freshman … Also an All-State performer in golf, capturing the conference title and finishing sixth in state tournament as a senior.
 
Personal:  Nursing major … Enjoys watching movies and painting as hobbies … Mother (Bobbi) was a UCO basketball standout in the 1990s who still ranks among the school’s all-time leaders in assists and father (Joel) was a pitcher-catcher for the Broncho baseball team … Younger sister (Kamri) is a basketball standout at Edmond North High School who has signed with the Air Force Academy … Names Tim McGraw as her favorite musician … Lists the Denver Broncos as her top professional team … Birthdate is June 25, 1997.
