Biography


In her first year as a graduate assistant at Central Oklahoma is former three-year letterwinner Cody Morrell.

Morrell started her playing career at UCO in 2003, receiving Lone Star Conference North Division co-Freshman of the Year accolades after hitting .299 while also going 5-2 in the pitching circle.

Cody sat out the next season before returning to play the next two years, seeing action at a variety of roles while helping the Bronchos make back-to-back national tournament appearances. She finished with a .252 career average.

Morrell, a prep standout at Mustang High School before coming to UCO, received her bachelor's in general studies in December and is working on a second degree in health/physical education.
