Kelsey Berlin

In her first year as a full-time assistant coach for Central Oklahoma is Kelsey Berlin, who spent the past three years as a graduate assistant coach for the Bronchos.

Kelsey helped UCO to a 122-53 record and two NCAA Division II national tournament berths during her tenure as graduate assistant.  The Bronchos  captured the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association regular season and tournament titles in 2017 in racking up the second-most wins in school history.

Berlin played one season at UCO after transferring in from Division I Arkansas.  She pitched in 31 games with 20 starts in 2015, finishing 11-8 with  two saves and a 3.24 earned run average while throwing three shutouts and striking out 77 batters in 140 1/3 innings as the Bronchos made it to the national tournament.

Kelsey was a prep star at Northwest High School in Wichita, Kan. before spending two years at Butler County Community College.  She went 15-6 with five shutouts and three saves there while also batting .370 with 24 doubles, nine home runs and 79 runs batted in.

Berlin spent the 2014 season at Arkansas, seeing limited action for the Razorbacks.
