Biography

Reigning Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Player of the year and senior outfielder ready to finish her career with a flourish . . . Left-handed slap-hitter with superb speed who is a prime offensive threat for the Bronchos near the top of the batting order . . . Excellent fielder with great range and is set to move from center field to left field this season . . . Hard-working team leader who showcases great consistency . . . Played freshman season at Oklahoma Baptist before transferring to UCO.

2017:  Took over starting role early in the season and got off to a torrid start en route to earning a number of post-season accolades . . . Hit .619 in her first eight games and finished with team-high .432 average . . . Was named MIAA Player of the Year while also earning first-team All-Central Region and honorable mention All-America honors from the Conference Commissioner’s Association . . . Second-team All-Central Region pick by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association . . . Was second in the league in average and triples (six) while tying for second in hits (79) and finishing third in runs (49) and sacrifice bunts (12) . . . Six triples ranked in a tie for third on UCO’s single-season charts and was 12th-best in NCAA Division II . . . Tied for sixth on school’s season list for average and hits . . . Was named MIAA Player of the Week once. . . Had 24 multi-hit games, including stretches of five and six straight . . . Put together hitting streaks of 12 and 14 games, batting .548 (23-for-42) during the 12-game streak . . . Hit .500 (29-for-58) with runners in scoring position and .489 (44-for-90) with runners on base . . . Went 3-for-4 in Central Region Tournament win over Pittsburg State.

2016:  Appeared in 46 games with three starts, all in center field . . . Saw action mostly as a pinch-runner, collecting just 17 at bats on the season and finishing with a .375 average . . . Had two doubles and two runs batted in while also stealing four bases . . . Had a pair of 2-for-2 outings.

OBU:  Named Sooner Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year and was a first-team All-SAC choice during 2015 season . . . Finished with a .393 average that included nine doubles, three triples, two home runs and 25 RBI to also earn second-team All-Region recognition . . . Named to the Dean’s Honor Roll.

High School:  Three-time All-District and All-Region selection at Yukon High School, helping the Millers win one state championship . . . Earned All-State honors as a senior after batting .358.

Personal:  Language pathology major looking to become a pediatric school speech pathologist . . . Lists “Remember the Titans” as her top sports movie . . . Birthdate is July 28, 1996.
