Versatile freshman who will push for extended playing time this spring . . . Will probably see some action at catcher and third base in addition to helping out at several other positions . . . Athletic youngster and a stellar all-around player with a strong arm.

High School:  Enjoyed sensational career at Verden High School, earning team MVP honors four straight years . . . All-State selection as a senior in both fast-pitch and slow-pitch . . . Also team MVP in basketball.

Personal:  An education major looking to become a teacher and coach . . . Names the New York Yankees as her favorite team . . . Lists “A League of Their Own” as her top sports movie . . . Birthdate is Aug. 7, 1992.
