Biography

Senior standout and team leader set to patrol center field for the second straight season … Quickly took over as the team’s lead-off hitter after coming in as a Division I transfer and will probably continue that role in 2019 … Offensive sparkplug and left-handed hitter with great speed who can create havoc on the base paths … Also a top-notch defender with her ability to cover plenty of ground in the field ... Has worked hard getting ready for final season and is ready to end her career in style … Came to UCO after two-year starting career at North Texas.

2018:  Started all 56 games in center field and was an honorable mention All-MIAA selection after hitting .353 with 10 doubles, four triples, 20 runs batted in and 11 stolen bases … Had 19 multi-hit and five multi-RBI games … Went 4-for-4 against Minnesota-Duluth … Put together four hitting streaks of five-plus games with a long of eight, hitting .433 (13-for-30) during that span … Had a .424 average (39-of-92) when leading off an inning … Went 3-for-4 with two RBI in MIAA Tournament win over Northwest Missouri … Hit .362 (21-for-58) with runners in scoring position … Came through in the clutch, batting .383 (18-for-87) and driving in 12 runs when hitting with two outs.

UNT:  Played in 102 games with 95 starts in center field during two years with the Mean Green … Batted .256 with nine multi-hit games and 10 stolen bases as a true freshman and was named to the Conference USA Commissioner’s List Honor Roll … Hit .173 in 2017 with a pair of doubles.

High School:  Multi-sport star at Deer Creek High School in Edmond … Four-year All-District performer in softball, earning Conference Defensive Player of the Year and All-State recognition as a senior … Also played on two state championship basketball teams for the Antlers and was a state track placer in the 800-meter relay.

Personal:  General studies major … Mother (Sharon) played softball at Louisiana-Monroe … Lists the Oklahoma City Thunder as her top sports team … Names Cole Swindell as her favorite musician … Birthdate is April 17, 1997.
