Biography
Senior standout and two-time All-American who ranks among the best in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Associaion and NCAA Division II . . . Has been a starter throughout his career and is capable of winning every tournament he enters . . . Has 25 top-20 tournament finishes during craeer.
Fall 2015: Led the Bronchos with 73.3 averaging in five tournaments and had a pair of top-10 finishes . . . Tied for ninth in both the Division II National Preview and the Missouri Southern Fall Invitational, finishing at four-under-par 212 in the National Preview after opening with rounds of 69-67 . . . Missed first round of the Holiday Inn Express Classic to illness, but came back to shot 145 in final two rounds.
2014-15: Had a team-low 73.54 scoring average for 26 rounds and finished in the top 15 in six of the 10 tournaments he played in, winning three titles . . . Was a first-team All-MIAA and All-Central Region selection in addition to earning honorable mention All-America honors . . . Cruised to an eight-shot win at the season-opening Lincoln Invitational after finishing at eight-under-par 205 with rounds of 68-67-70 . . . Won back-to-back titles in the MIAA Championships and the Midwest/Central Regional . . . Claimed league title with birdie on first playoff hole and had a two-under 214 total in winning the regional crown by two shots . . . Had 15 rounds of 73 or better and shot under par six times.
2013-14: Was a first-team All-MIAA selection in addition to earning honorable mention All-America honors . . . Finished with a team-best 75.0 average in 12 tournaments and really came on down the stretch . . . Placed in top 20 10 times and had four top-five finishes, including a runner-up showing in the NCAA Division II Midwest/Central Regional with a one-under-par 215 total . . . Followed that with 11th-place tie in the national tournament, shooting a final-round 70 to finish at 220 . . . Was also runner-up in the Broncho Invitational and tied for fifth in the Washburn Invitational . . . Had eight under-par rounds, highlighted by three-under 69 in first round of the regional . . . Qualified for the 89th U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship in July, earned a spot in the 64-player match play portion of that tournament and won two rounds there before being eliminated . . . Also made it to the semifinals of the Oklahoma State Amateur during the summer.
2012-13: Played in all 12 tournaments as a rookie and ended with a 75.1 average for 29 rounds . . . Won the Missouri Western Central Regional Invitational during the fall of 210 with a three-under-par 210 total after shooting 67-70-73 . . . Had six other top-20 finishes, including three in the top 10 . . . Tied for second at the Midwest Regional Preview, tied for third at the NSU Golf Classic and tied for 10th in the MIAA Championships . . . Had 14 rounds under 75.
High School: Earned All-State honors as a senior at Ponca City High School . . Captured conference and regional titles as a junior for the Wildcats en route to a fourth-place finish in the Class 6A state tournament.
