Biography

Senior standout and one of the elite defenders in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association . . . Will fill a starting berth for the fourth consecutive year and has been a consistent force at defensive end throughout his stellar career . . . Team leader with a great work ethic and an intense competitor capable of being a dominating force up front . . . Is poised for a banner final season and is ready to spearhead what promises to be a vastly improved defensive unit.
 
2013:  Was an honorable mention All-MIAA selection after finishing with 28 tackles, including 5.5 for loss with 2.0 sacks . . . Had three games with four-plus tackles, capped by six-tackle effort against Central Missouri that included a half-sack . . . Had five tackles (four solo) with a forced fumble against national champion Northwest Missouri . . . Made four tackles against Pittsburg State . . . Had a solo sack against Washburn and made 1.5 tackles for loss with a half-sack in win over Lincoln.
 
2012:  Started all season and finished with 42 tackles, including 5.0 for loss with 2.5 sacks . . . Also knocked down two passes and forced a fumble in earning honorable mention All-MIAA honors . . . Made career-high nine tackles, including one for loss, against Northwest Missouri while forcing a fumble and breaking up a pass . . . Had six tackles with a sack at Central Missouri . . . Finished with six tackles against Pittsburg State and five against Northeastern State . . . Had three solo stops with a sack and another tackle for loss in home upset of Washburn.
 
2011:  Took over a starting role from the outset as a true freshman and stayed there all year before missing the season finale to injury . . . Finished with 25 tackles, including 3.5 for loss with a half-sack and two fumble recoveries . . . Had four tackles with a half-sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in collegiate debut against No. 6-ranked North Alabama . . . Collected season-high six tackles with one for loss at Southwestern Oklahoma.
 
High School:  Made 76 tackles with 10 sacks as a senior at Westmoore High School . . . Earned All-Conference, District Defensive Lineman of the Year, Oklahoman All-Big City and Class 6A All-Star recognition  his final season . . . Also lettered in baseball and track.
 
Personal:  Industrial safety major . . . Enjoys fishing  as his main hobby . . . Names the Texas Rangers as his top team . . . Birthdate is May 30, 1992.
