Biography

Veteran defensive back ready to lead the Broncho secondary and finish career with a bang ... Returning starter with 32 career games played for the Bronchos and 16 career starts.

2016: Played in eight games, starting three as a junior ... Made 16 tackles on the season ... Season-high four tackles against Pittsburg State in 2016 home-opener and the next week at Fort Hays State ... Added six pass break-ups, which was a team high.

2015: Collected 34 tackles and finished third on the team in broken up passes with seven ... Also intercepted a pass and had 1.5 tackles for loss while playing in all 12 games with eight starts ... Made at least three tackles in eight games, topped by career-high seven-tackle outing with a PBU against Fort Hays State ... Interception came in win over Washburn ... Had six tackles with a PBU in Live United Bowl rout of Southwestern Oklahoma.

2014: Played in all 12 games and started the final five, finishing with 23 tackles while breaking up three passes and making two interceptions ... Made 19 tackles during five-game starting stint ... Had first career interception in road rout of Nebraska-Kearney and picked off second pass in home win over Northeastern State.

2013: Sat out redshirt year.

High School: Football-track standout at Coppell (Texas) High School . . . Earned All-District honors in football and ran on 800-meter relay team that set a school record.
