Biography

Returning starter on the defensive line slated to man an end slot again this season . . . Came to UCO for spring drills last year following stellar junior college career at Grossmont (Calif.) Community College and quickly established himself as one of the team’s top linemen . . . Hard-nosed, physical defender who can be a force up front and the Bronchos are expecting big things from this seasoned veteran in 2015.
 
2014:  Enjoyed solid junior season while playing in all 12 games with 10 starts . . . Had 27 tackles with 7.5 for loss, including 3.0 sacks, while also forcing a fumble, recovering a fumble and breaking up one pass . . . Made season-high five tackles against league co-champion Pittsburg State . . . Had four solo stops with one for loss in win over Missouri Western . . . Recorded solo sacks against Fort Hays State and Nebraska-Kearney in addition to getting half-sacks against Washburn and Northeastern State.
 
Juco:  Two-year starter at Grossmont . . . Racked up 14 tackles for loss with 11 sacks and two interceptions as a sophomore.
 
High School:  All-Conference pick and defensive MVP as a senior at Stevens High School in Rapid City, S.D.
 
Personal:  Kinesiology major looking to become a coach  . . . Names the Minnesota Vikings as his top pro team . . . Lists ‘‘Friday Night Lights” as his favorite sports movie . . . Birthdate is Aug. 22, 1989.
