Biography

Tough, hard-nosed veteran looking to return to the field after two injury-plagued years . . . Lettered in back-up role at tight end/H-back in 2012 and was pushing for starting berth during spring drills in 2013 before suffering knee injury . . . Returned to action last August and was again poised to play a prominent role before going down with another injury . . . Has worked hard to get back to full speed and is capable of really helping the Bronchos . . . Came to UCO as a defensive lineman before switching positions.
 
2013-14:  Missed both seasons to injury.
 
2012:  Played in nine games with two starts . . . Caught two passes for 10 yards, including a nine-yarder against Missouri Western.

2011:  Sat out redshirt year.
 
High School:  Product of Edmond North High School . . . Had 61 tackles with five sacks from defensive end spot as a senior in helping the Huskies to the second round of the Class 6A state playoffs.

 Personal:  Criminal justice major . . . Father (Brian) played football at Western Washington and brother (Nate) at Southwestern Oklahoma . . .  Lists the Oklahoma City Thunder as his favorite professional team and ‘‘Rudy” as his top sports movie . . . Birthdate is March 8, 1993.
