Biography

Junior defensive back is one of the best in the MIAA ... Has loads of talent that proved more than his worth last season and is ready to make a jump to garnering awards as a cornerback ... Played his way onto the field as a redshirt freshman and showed his talents are something to be reckoned with and then had an even better sophomore season ... Has ability to go with any receiver in the league and is no stranger to getting involved in breaking up passes or even picking them off ... Has six career interceptions in two seasons ... Earned honorable mention recognition from the conference as a sophomore and could be an All-MIAA candidate this season.

2019: Played in all 11 games for the Bronchos as a sophomore ... Made 36 tackles, including 28 solo stops ... Had a team-high and ranked fourth in the MIAA with four interceptions - one returned for a touchdown ... Broke up two more passes as well ... Had a season-high five tackles in Week 11 against Emporia State ... Had four tackles in five games ... Had interceptions in Week 5-6-8-10 ... Picked off a pass and returned it 27 yards for a touchdown against Northeastern State to help the Bronchos win the President's Cup for a sixth consecutive year and set a new Wantland Stadium record with 82 points in a single game ... Had one tackle for a loss on the season and also forced one fumble ... Earned All-MIAA Honorable Mention following the season.

2018: Played in all 12 games for the Bronchos as a redshirt freshman ... Made four starts toward the end of the season ... Had 27 tackles on the year ... Made two interceptions and totaled 48 return yards ... Also had three pass breakups ... Had one pick against Missouri Western in a Week 6 win and another against Northeastern State in a Week 10 62-0 triumph ... Helped Central's pass defense become one of the best in the MIAA ... Was a part of the Bronchos leading the country with three consecutive shutouts in Week's 8-9-10.

2017: Sat out redshirt season.

High School: First Team All-District selection out of Lamar High School in Arlington, Texas ... Also earned First Team Academic All-District ... Athletic abilities led to five touchdowns (two kickoff, one punt return, and two interception returns) ... Also had 32 tackles and 16 pass break-ups ... Also lettered in track & field.

Personal: History major ... Wants to go into coaching ... Lists the Houston Texans as his favorite pro sports team ... Birthdate is Jan. 23, 1999.
