Biography

Junior quarterback with large skillset that has shown signs of brilliant ability and has also battled injuries ... Played in four games as a sophomore and made two starts before suffering a season-ending injury ... Won the starting job in a heated QB battle in 2018 and started the first three games of the season before a knee injury sidelined him for the rest of the year ... Prolific passer has always made a recovery and is ready to do battle again this fall ... Learned from two of the best in UCO history how to run the high-potent Broncho offense ... Saw valuable experience in 2016 redshirt season, working with the No. 1 and No. 2 ranked total yards leaders in UCO history ... One of the premiere passers in Oklahoma prep football history is a tall lefty who can sling the ball all over the field hitting targets near and far.

2020: Gained another year of experience through practice with UCO not competing due to the pandemic.

2019: Played in four games, making two starts ... Led UCO to a 63-0 win over Lincoln in Week 3 in his first start of the season ... Threw for 575 yards and three touchdowns in four appearances ... Was 48 of 91 passing while on the field ... Also had 70 yards rushing ... Had a 30-yard touchdown pass and a 4-yard touchdown pass in the Week 3 win over Lincoln ... Also had a 6-yard touchdown pass in a loss at Northwest Missouri in Week 4 ... Went down in Week 6 with a knee injury and missed the remainder of the season.

2018: Showed why he won the job in a hurry, totaling 572 yards and five touchdowns in just 10 quarters of play ... Was 47 of 75 passing (62.7 percent) in his time on the field last season ... Also totaled over 100 rushing yards in two and a half games ... Tossed a 51-yard touchdown pass in his first career start in Week 1 ... Went 21-for-30 with 236 yards and a nine-yard TD in Week 2 ... Was 14-for-16 with 213 yards and three touchdowns in Week 3 before suffering an injury.

2017: Appeared in three games as a backup in redshirt freshman season ... Was 3-for-4 passing with 26 yards and one touchdown ... Also had one carry for six yards.

2016: Sat out redshirt season.

High School: Class 3A All-Star pick last fall after completing 205-of-334 passes for 3,503 yards and 36 touchdowns with just three interceptions while also rushing for 409 yards ... Enjoyed phenomenal prep career at Victory Christian Academy, passing for 12,538 yards and 118 TDs as a four-year starter ... Led team to Class 3A playoffs during senior season.
