Senior star who ranks as one of the premiere defensive linemen in the country . . . Has been a dominating force in the trenches throughout his career and is ready for another banner season in 2009 . . . Has gotten better every year and is a fierce competitor who showcases all the physical tools needed to be a overwhelming presence inside . . . Garners lots of attention on the defensive front, but is hard to stop and creates plenty of havoc up front. . . Was a first-team pick on the Consensus Draft Services Division II preseason All-America team and should contend for a variety of post-season honors.

2008:  Enjoyed a sensational junior season in earning first-team All-Lone Star Conference North Division and second-team Daktronics All-Super Region Four accolades . . . Finished with 60 tackles, including a team-high 15.5 for loss with 4.5 sacks . . . Tied a career high with 10 tackles in win over Texas A&M-Commerce, including one sack and another tackle for loss . . . Was virtually unstoppable in rout of Southeastern Oklahoma in earning LSC North Division Defensive Player of the Week honors, recording 4.5 tackles for loss in a nine-tackle outing . . . Also made eight tackles against Texas A&M-Kingsville.

2007:  Was a first-team All-LSC North Division pick after racking up 47 tackles with 6.5 for loss, including 3.5 sacks . . . Made a career-high 10 tackles in narrow loss to Angelo State and had at least five tackles in six other games . . . Had six tackles with 1.5 sacks in win at Texas A&M-Commerce while making six stops with one sack in victory over Southwestern Oklahoma . . . Also had six tackles with two for loss and a blocked kick against Northeastern State.

2006:  Started all year and finished with 33 tackles, including four for loss . . . Blocked three kicks and recovered a fumble in the end zone to be named LSC North Division Special Teams Player of the Week after a narrow loss to rival Southwestern Oklahoma . . . Blocked six kicks on the season while adding a half sack and two fumble recoveries . . . Notched a season-high seven stops with a fumble recovery and a blocked kick against Missouri Western.

2005:  Sat out redshirt season.

High School:  Prep standout as a two-way lineman at Lawton MacArthur High School . . . Two-time All-District and Lawton Constitution All-Area pick, earning District Offensive Lineman of the Year honors as a senior . . . Also an All-State pick and played in the Oklahoma-Texas Oil Bowl All-Star game.
