Biography

Two-year letterman and senior linebacker set to see extended playing time this season . . . Experienced veteran who showed he can be a factor last year and is ready to have an even bigger impact in 2015 . . . Started career at Division I Pittsburg, redshirting there in 2011 and then sitting out the next year before transferring to UCO in the spring of 2013.
 
2014:  Made one start while playing in all 12 games and finished with 23 tackles, including 2.5 for loss . . . Had three solo stops with one for a two-yard loss and an assisted tackle against Sioux Falls . . . Also had four-tackle game against Northwest Missouri . . . Made three tackles while forcing and recovering a fumble in road win over Nebraska-Kearney.
 
2013:  Appeared in five games with three starts and finished with 11 tackles, including seven unassisted stops . . . Had seven tackles (five solo) with one for loss against Pittsburg State.
 
High School:  Two-way star at MacArthur High School in Irving, Texas . . . Earned All-District 5A-6 recognition at receiver as a senior after catching 33 passes for 457 yards while also rushing for 298 yards and five TDs on 64 carries . . . Also a four-year track letterman.
 
Personal:  Communications major who wants to be a sports analyst . . . Names the San Francisco 49ers as his favorite professional team . . . Lists ‘‘Remember the Titans” as his top sports movie . . . Birthdate is Sept. 29, 1992.
