Biography

Senior defensive end has gotten better every year ... One of the harder working players on the team and is a great leader for the Bronchos ... Adds key depth to the defensive line ... Made huge strides from his first year when he played in one game to his second year when he played in all but one game ... Continued that in year four (he redshirted in 2014) as he again made 10 appearances ... Has played in 21 games in three seasons ... Is a pesky defender that makes the offensive line make adjustments and also presents problems in the pass rush.

2017: Played in 10 of 12 games as a junior and made seven starts ... Made 16 tackles (six solo, 10 assisted) and three tackles for a loss, totaling 14 yards ... Also had two sacks ... Batted down four passes at the line of scrimmage.

2016: Played in 10 of 11 games last year and earned two starts ... Made 12 tackles, 2.5 for a loss including one sack, and forced a fumble. 

2015: Played in one game, making one assisted tackle in road win over Missouri Southern.

2014: Sat out redshirt season.

High School: Had 14 sacks as a senior at Deer Creek High School in Edmond to earn Oklahoman Big All-City, All-District, Edmond Sun All-City and Class 5A All-Star honors ... Compiled 236 tackles with 53 tackles for loss and a Class 5A-leading 26 sacks his final two seasons with the Antlers ... Also a four-year wrestling starter and baseball letterman.

Personal: Interpersonal communications major ... Names Chris Young as his favorite musical artist ... Lists “Benchwarmers” as his top sports movie ... Birthdate is Feb. 5, 1996.
