Biography

Senior safety looking to retain his spot in the starting lineup this fall . . . Had a solid junior season and possesses the experience and talent to be a defensive mainstay for the Bronchos . . . Transferred to UCO last year after playing two seasons at Division I North Texas.
 
2014:  Played in 11 of 12 games with seven starts and finished second among defensive backs in total tackles with 46 . . . Had 26 solo stops and also broke up three passes . . . Made at least five tackles in five games, led by nine-tackle outing in win over Washburn . . . Had eight tackles against Northwest Missouri and made seven with a broken up pass against Pittsburg State . . . Tallied six tackles, including five solo, and forced a fumble in road win over Nebraska-Kearney.

UNT:  Appeared in seven games with three starts as a true freshman in 2012, making 11 tackles and breaking up one pass . . . Had season-high five tackles in win over Louisiana-Lafayette . . . Saw limited duty the next season, making one tackle.

High School:  All-District selection and honorable mention All-State pick as a senior at Coppell (Texas) High School after racking up 70 tackles and six interceptions . . . Was the 67th-ranked cornerback in the country by ESPN . . . Earned first-team All-State honors as a junior after making 85 tackles with 14 passes broken up and a state-leading seven interceptions . . . District Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore.

Personal:  Kinesiology major looking to become a physical therapist . . . Names "Friday Night Lights" as his favorite sports movie . . . Enjoys playing video games as a hobby . . . Birthdate is Aug. 19, 1994.
