Biography

Senior linebacker and leader of the Broncho defense ... Has played in every game (35) for UCO over the past three seasons, moving from backup to starter to all-conference award winner ... Has 170 career tackles for Central in three seasons ... Heads-up player that knows how to run a defense ... Finds the ball quickly and can make any tackle in a hole or in open field ... Is a solid run stopper who also excels in the pass game ... Provides flexibility to the Central defense to play the run or pass at any time ... Earned All-MIAA honors as a junior is aiming to improve his status in his final year in the program.

2017: Played in all 12 games for the Bronchos as a junior, moving into a leadership role on defense and shining throughout the season before earning all-conference honors ... Led the Bronchos on defense, tallying a team-high 100 tackles ... Made 39 solo tackles, 6.5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage and had one sack for a loss of four yards ... Hard hitting linebacker forced two fumbles and recovered one on the season ... Also a strong pass defense player that made one interception (returned for 22 yards) and had seven break-ups or deflections for the Bronchos ... Recorded at least 10 tackles in four games played last year ... Had at least six stops in all but one game ... Season-high 12 tackles made at Missouri Western ... Earned Third Team All-MIAA and was an MIAA Honor Roll member.

2016: Played in all 11 games last season, starting two ... Finished the season with 36 tackles - 3.5 for a loss - and one sack ... Made 27 solo tackles ... Also blocked a field goal for the Bronchos against Washburn in a crucial fourth quarter stop in Week 10 ... Earned his lone sack in that game against Washburn where he also had six tackles.

2015: Played in all 12 games with one start and made 34 tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss with one sack ... Had season-high six tackles in road rout of Northeastern State and equaled that in Live United Bowl win over Southwestern Oklahoma while making first-ever start ... Sack came in three-tackle effort against Missouri Southern ... Had five tackles with a half-tackle for loss in win over Pittsburg State.

2014: Sat out redshirt year.

High School: Oklahoma Coaches Association All-Stater as a senior at Christian Heritage Academy ... District Offensive Player of the Year selection after completing 144-of-212 passes for 1,748 yards and 18 touchdowns while adding 716 yards and eight TDs rushing in just eight games ... Also a basketball letterman.
