In his first season with the University of Central Oklahoma is Pat Hill, who will coach the defensive line for the Broncho football team this season.

Hill comes to UCO from Angelo State, where he spent the past season coaching the Rams. Hill coached the national defensive player of the year, Harlon Hill finalist, consensus All-American, and now NFL player, Markus Jones, and also coached against the Bronchos in the Heart of Texas Bowl, which UCO won 41-34.

Hill had a quick stop at Eastern Michigan for the spring of 2018 following a two-year stint as the defensive line coach at Morehead State (2016-17). He started his coaching career Concordia-Chicago in 2008 and coached there until 2012. Hill helped Concordia-Chicago win a NATHC Championship in 2011. He also helped Adrian College to the 2012 MIAAC Championship with other stops at Concordia-Ann Arbor, West Virginia State, Ferrum College and James Madison.

Hill received his bachelor's degree in sports management and sociology from Concordia-Chicago in 2010 and earned his master's degree in sports leadership there in 2011.
