Biography

Returning starter looking to maintain his spot in the lineup . . . Was the main free safety last year and is the front-runner to keep a No. 1 position in UCO’s new-look defense . . . Athletic sophomore with good speed and a steady performer who will be even better in 2011.

2010: Started in all eight games played, missing three contests to injury . . . Had 43 total tackles, including 4.0 for loss, and also intercepted two passes . . . Made seven tackles and picked off a pass in college debut against Pittsburg State . . . Had a season-high 10 tackles (eight solo) with two for loss and two forced fumbles against Southeastern Oklahoma . . . Other interception came at Incarnate Word.

2009: Redshirted.

High School: All-Stater as a senior at Lawton MacArthur High School after making 160 tackles with two interceptions . . . Played in the Oil Bowl all-star game . . . Also lettered in track.

Personal: A forensic science major . . . Names ”Remember the Titans” as his favorite sports movie . . . Birthdate is July 1, 1990.
