Biography

Senior veteran and three-year letterman slated to fill starting berth at defensive end . . . Part-time starter at linebacker and end throughout his career and has the experience to be a major asset for the Bronchos in 2014 . . . Has big-play capability with his ability to rush the quarterback and is ready to finish with a flourish.
 
2013:  Played in seven games with one start and had 3.0 sacks among  his 15 total tackles . . . Best outing was six-tackle performance in season opener against Missouri Southern . . . Clinched home win over Lincoln with last-minute sack and also had solo sacks against Emporia State and Southwest Baptist.
 
2012:  Played in all 10 games with six starts and ended up with 31 tackles . . . Had 4.0 tackles for loss, including 2.0 sacks, while also blocking a kick and breaking up one pass . . . Had four-plus tackles in five games, led by five-tackle, one-sack outing against Southwest Baptist . . . Other sack came in home upset of Washburn . . . Had four tackles and blocked a field goal in season finale vs. Northeastern State.
 
2011:  Made three starts while playing in 10 of 11 games and finished with 20 tackles, including 2.5  for loss . . . Made season-high five tackles against Southwestern Oklahoma and had four-tackle outing in first-ever start at Angelo State.
 
High School:  Played both ways at Tulsa East Central High School and was an All-District pick at tight end.
 
Personal:  Kinesiology major . . . Names the New Orleans Saints as his favorite professional team . . . Lists ‘‘Friday Night Lights” as his top sports movie . . . Birthdate is Oct. 8, 1993.
