Named in 1993 after longtime coach and Athletic Director Dale E. Hamilton, Hamilton Field House is the home of Broncho Athletics.

It houses offices for Central’s fourteen various coaching staffs as well as the athletic administration, compliance office, sports medicine, and strength and conditioning staff. Hamilton also houses the sports medicine training room for student athletes to see a trainer, team physician, or receive treatment/rehab injuries as well as locker rooms for UCO student-athletes and visiting teams. The Broncho weight room is also located in the facility for student-athletes to work with the strength and conditioning staff on quickness, strength gains, and agility.

In addition to utilizing the weight room and training room, rowing student-athletes train on the thirty Ergs in an upstairs area of the field house, if not at the boathouse that day.

Hamilton Field House also is the home for the University of Central Oklahoma's graduation ceremonies every May and December. During the summer months, the gym is rented out to various groups and organizations, and hosts concerts, pep rallys, and many other events.
