Local product and freshman pitcher who will probably sit out a redshirt year . . . Right-hander with good control and has a bright future ahead with the Bronchos.

High School:  Played at Santa Fe High School in Edmond, helping lead the Wolves to the state finals last year.

Personal:  A physical therapy major . . . Sister (Kim) was a four-year volleyball standout for UCO in the mid-2000s and brother (Matt) was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays last summer after playing at Lamar . . . Names Derek Jeter as his favorite athlete . . . Birthdate is Aug. 20, 1990.
