Biography

Versatile junior college transfer capable of playing virtually any infield position . . . Athletic junior who will mainly push for playing time at shortstop or third base, but could play second or first if needed . . . Spent one year apiece at two different junior colleges before coming to UCO.

Juco:  Played freshman year at Paris (Texas) Junior College and then transferred to play last season at Vernon (Texas) College . . . Hit .370 with six doubles for the Chaparral.

High School:  Enjoyed a fabulous prep career as a multi-sport standout at Halliday (Texas) High School . . . Three-year All-Stater in baseball and hit .640 with nine home runs as a senior . . . Also an All-State defensive back in football, an All-District performer in basketball and a regional qualifier in tennis.

Personal:  A business major . . . Names Derek Jeter as his favorite professional athlete . . . Birthdate is July 11, 1990.
