Our Complete the Dream campaign is the most ambitious fund-raising initiative in UCO Athletics history. It is the result of a comprehensive Master Facilities Plan in development since 2011. The Master Plan includes several phases, and when complete will be a showcase for the university, the City of Edmond and Oklahoma City metro area.
The landscape of college athletics today requires constant facility improvements. Paramount to sustained success of Broncho athletics are facilities consistent with a championship program. To that end, UCO Athletics has begun, and is working on, a number of facilities that will enhance the student-athlete experience, improve recruiting and magnify the visibility of UCO Athletics in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
Sport Performance Center (North end zone of Wantland Stadium)
Dedicated areas within the Sport Performance Center include a theatre, state-of-the-art athletic training room, student-athlete lounges, offices for coaches and staff and donor/letter-winner gathering areas. A dedicated Academic Enhancement Center will benefit all student-athletes and feature a computer lab, tutor rooms and classroom. Facility will also house offices, locker rooms and film rooms for football. Facility is expected to be approximately 40,000 - 45,000 square feet.
Phase II Practice Facility (North of Hamilton Field House)
This facility will house modern new locker rooms for men's and women's basketball, volleyball and wrestling. Located just north of Hamilton Fieldhouse, the facility will also house an auxiliary gym for men's and women's basketball and volleyball and practice facility for wrestling.
Softball Stadium
With softball stadium construction complete, UCO now boasts one of the finest facilities in the country. The new facility includes new spectator seating, public restrooms, press box, team locker room, coaches offices and more.
