Central Oklahoma has long had one of the most successful wrestling programs in the nation, having claimed 17 national championships.
UCO won eight titles while members of the NAIA and has taken nine crowns since joining NCAA Division II in 1990, including each of the last two in 2023 and 2024.
The Bronchos have also had nine national runner-up finishes in four different divisions -- AAU (1935), NCAA I (1936), NAIA (1974 and ’88) and NCAA II (1990, ’91, ’96, ’00 and '22).
UCO has finished in the top-five 41 times in its 72-year history, including a streak of 27 straight years from 1978 through 2004. Here's a look at Central's 17 team national championships:
