The University of Central Oklahoma athletic training staff provides medical services to the 14 varsity sports within the UCO Athletic Department. Access to professional medical services for all student-athletics is a priority for the UCO athletic training staff. These services include, but are not limited to, prevention, management and therapeutic rehabilitation of athletic injuries. It is our goal to return the injured student-athlete back to competition as quickly and safely as possible. Also, we strive to provide quality facilities and equipment that will enable us to provide quality athletic healthcare.
The athletic training facility at UCO serves as a clinical site for the school's graduate athletic training education program to assist students in fulfilling requirements in order to successfully satisfy the BOC Inc. exam. The UCO athletic training staff strives to provide the best opportunities for all graduate athletic training students to succeed by providing quality instruction, supervision and a variety of clinical experiences. This encourages the graduate athletic training student to develop their skills and knowledge to meet the demands of a dynamic profession.
