Biography

Junior quarterback who stepped into starting role in second half of last season and thrived, leading the Bronchos to six wins down the stretch, including a thrilling, come-from-behind victory in the Heart of Texas Bowl ... Is a dual threat quarterback that can hit receivers all over the field, in or out of the pocket, and make unsuspecting defenders miss on the run ... Will still be in competition for the starting job this fall as part of the deepest position on the field for the Bronchos ... Transferred to Central from Louisiana Monroe before sophomore season.

2018: Played seven games at quarterback, making six starts ... Went 6-1 in those games ... Threw for 1,759 yards with a sizzling 64.1 percent completion rate ... Threw 14 touchdowns and had a long play of 66 yards ... Also scampered for 288 yards and a pair of touchdowns ... Earned MIAA Offensive Player of the Week honors following a stellar performance in Week 8 win over Washburn ... Was 19-for-24 with 282 yards and four touchdowns and also ran the ball for 29 yards and one score ... Completed a pass to six different receivers in the game and had a 56-yard touchdown throw in the 34-0 win ... Saved his best performance for last, completing a miraculous comeback in the Heart of Texas Bowl win over Angelo State ... Was 25-for-43 for 367 yards and threw four touchdowns in the win ... He threw touchdown passes of 53, 16, and 53 in the final eight minutes of the game ... The second 53-yard score put UCO ahead 41-34 with 1:12 to play and gave the Bronchos a win.

ULM: Played in 11 games over two-year period for the Warhawks ... Threw a pair of touchdown passes as a true freshman in 2016.

High School: Led Lawton MacArthur to the Class 5A state championship in 2015 ... Earned All-State honors following senior season.

Personal: Graduated in the spring of 2019 with his bachelor's degree ... Is member of the Central Oklahoma Army ROTC.
