Biography

Entering his fourth year in the program and third year as a regular face in the linebacker corps ... Quick to the ball carrier and also able to cover in the pass game ... Powerful player that can make the stop, whether plugging a hole or chasing down a ball carrier in the open field ... Has tightened up his game over the first half of his career and is aiming to continue that upward trend.

2017: Continued to become a bigger part of the UCO defense, appearing in all 12 games for the Bronchos as a sophomore ... Made 32 tackles (16 solo, 16 assisted) and 1.5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage ... Also added a half a sack ... Was also big in dropping back to defend the pass, having made one interception and nine break-ups or deflections ... Had a season-high seven tackles against Central Missouri ... Made is lone interception on the season against Nebraska-Kearney ... Had five or more tackles in three games. 

2016: Finished fourth on the Broncho defense with 45 tackles ... Jumped into big role at linebacker as a freshman and showed flashes of brilliance ... Had at least five tackles in five of 10 games played ... Had career-high eight tackles in Week 5 at Emporia State and totaled seven tackles in Week 10 against Washburn ... Also had one sack on the season and one forced fumble.

2015: Sat out redshirt season.

High School: All-District and All-State selection as a senior at Putnam City High School ... Made 148 tackles with two interceptions while also catching 35 passes for 488 yards his final season ... Also earned All-District and Oklahoman All-Big City team honors in basketball.

Personal: Kinesiology major looking to become a physical therapist ... Uncle (Aso) played quarterback at Oklahoma State for three years before spending his senior season at UCO ... Names “The Gridiron Gang” as his favorite sports movie ... Birthdate is March 18, 1997.
