Biography

Senior linebacker ready to get back on the field and back in the mix ... Moved into the box as a linebacker after beginning career as a defensive back ... Is a hard-hitting defender that knows where to be and how to make the play ... Can cover in the flats and over the middle but can also be a run stopper on the corners ... Made long-awaited return to the gridiron during spring ball in 2021 after missing most of 2018 and all of 2019 due to a train accident that took his left foot ... Winner of 2020-21 Grace Shin Award, recognizing a UCO student-athlete overcoming substantial odds.

2020: Gained a year of experience through practice as UCO did not compete during the pandemic.

2019: Did not play.

2018: Played in two games and led the team in tackles ... Had six tackles against Pittsburg State in Week 1 and a team-high nine tackles against Nebraska-Kearney in Week 2.

2017: Played in seven games as a redshirt freshman ... Made 27 tackles (17 solo, 10 assisted) as a safety for the Bronchos ... Assisted on one tackle behind the line of scrimmage and broke up two passes.

2016: Sat out redshirt season.

High School: Earned All-Conference, All-District and Class 6A All-Star honors at Westmoore High School last season after making 53 tackles with one interception ... Also lettered in track.

Personal: Criminal justice major ... Enjoys playing video games as a hobby ... Names the Houston Texans as his favorite professional team ... Birthdate is July 13, 1998.
