Biography

Hard-hitting senior veteran ready to finish her career with a flourish . . . Was an honorable mention All-American at catcher in 2015 before moving to first base and designated player last year . . . Is set to battle for starting spot at first this spring while also ready to help out at catcher and DP . . . Has great power at the plate as a threat to go deep with every swing and is eager to be a prime run-producer for the Bronchos . . . Ranks seventh on UCO’s career home run list with 23.

2016:  Appeared in 39 games with 30 starts, 18 at first base and 12 at DP . . . Belted six homers and had 13 runs batted in while finishing with a .242 average . . . Had six multi-hit games . . . Hit homers in back-to-back games three times during the season.

2015:  Was a first-team All-MIAA pick at catcher in addition to earning first-team All-Central Region recognition from Daktronics and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association . . . Daktronics honorable mention All-American after batting .324 with league-leading 16 homers, 11 doubles and 53 RBI . . . Led the Bronchos in slugging percentage at .665 . . . Finished fourth on UCO’s single-season list for homers and tied for ninth for RBI . . . Had 16 multi-hit games and 12 multi-RBI outings . . . Ripped off a 10-game hitting streak late in the season . . . Went 5-for-6 with three homers and 12 RBI in home doubleheader sweep of Northeastern State . . . Had nine games with three-plus RBI . . . Finished with team-best .991 fielding percentage, making just two errors in 213 chances . . . Was also an MIAA Scholar-Athlete selection.
 
2014:  Played in 44 games with 38 starts and batted .350 with 10 doubles and 11 RBI . . . Second-team All-MIAA pick at utility/non-pitcher after starting at three different positions – catcher (21), DP (14) and left field (three) . . . Had eight multi-hit games, including 3-for-3, two-double, two-RBI performance in win over Minnesota-Duluth . . . Made just one error in 91 fielding chances and threw out three of 11 would-be base stealers.
 
High School:  Three-year star at Grove High School, starting at third base as a sophomore before moving to catcher her final two seasons . . . Two-time All-District pick, also earning All-Region and All-State acclaim as a senior . . . Batted .444 with four homers and 27 RBI her final season to help lead the Lady Ridgerunners to the Class 5A state title . . . Also a conference and regional track champion in the 3,200-meter relay, finishing third in the state in that event and fifth in the 800-meter run.
